Dated 1789 on stringcourse. Originally 1 house. Grey brick with red brick dressings
and band at 1st floor. Rendered plinth. Tiled roof. 2 1/2 storeys, 4 windows,
sashes with boxed frames and cambered head linings to ground floor. Centre door
with cambered head lining. 6 panelled door, top 2 panels now glazed. Steps.
Nos 8 and 9, Nos 11 to 13 (consec) and Nos 15 and 16 together with the street lamp
opposite the entrance to Portchester Road, form a group. (Nos 11 to 13 (consec)
and the street lamp are of local interest).
