Early to mid C19 warehouse. Red brick with coped gable ends. Corrugated iron
roof. 3 storeys. 5 windows, multipaned window, round arched on 1st and 2nd floors,
flat arches to those of ground floor. Important position at the junction of East,
West and Union Streets.
Nos 1 to 13 (odd) Surgery and Fareham House, form a group with Nos 10 and 12 and
the Red Lion. (Surgery is a building of local interest).
The RedLion Hotel and No 10 (Courts Warehouse) also form part of groups on Union
Street and High Street.
