Early C19 facade. Stucco eaves cornice and parapet rising in centre. 2 storeys,
3 windows in all, generally unbarred sashes the southern one with margin lights.
North side has angular bay. Ground floor modern shop fronts.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
