C19. Red brick with hipped tiled roof. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with cambered
head linings and late C19 glazing. Doorway with semi-circular hood and pilasters.
6 panelled door, top 4 panels now glazed. South side advanced later bay with carriageway
arch beneath.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
