C18. Stuccoed facade with coped cornice and parapet. Roof not visible. 2 storeys
and basement. 2 windows and a dummy centre window. Sashes with glazing bars.
Doorway with fluted Ionic pilasters, pediment, semi-circular fanlight and door
of moulded and fielded panels. 2 steps approach.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
