Early C19. Red brick facade, slate roof. 2 storeys. 2 windows with slightly
segmental stuccoed arches, unbarred sashes with margin lights, 1 modern bay on
ground floor. Included for group value. Red brick rear wing entered through arch
under No 1 Union Street. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars and 1
modern window. Additional door.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
