C18/early C19. All part of 1 building. Rendered facade grooed to simulate masonry.
Brick eaes cornice. Hipped old tiled roof. Large centre chimney stack. 2 storeys.
3 windows in all, 1st floor sashes with ertical glazing bars only and segmental
arches. Ground floor has 3 modern shop fronts. Included for group value.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
45, High Street is of local interest).
