Late C18. formerly the stables of Hook Park ( the mansion was burnt down in 1903).
Red brick with hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. 5 windows. The centre 3 window
bays slightly advanced with pediment above. Venetian shutters to 1st floor windows.
All sashes with glazing bars but ground floor windows round arched with 3 lights
each, the centre light enlarged to form a French window. Porch, which is probably
a modern reproduction, with Doric columns, pediment and round headed doorway with
fanlight. Additional 1 storey 1 bay outshuts to each side containing symmetrical
reproduction porches, the western one has no door.
Old Dormy House and its attached walls form a group.
