Earlier/mid C19. Colourwashed facade with west side advanced under gable. Roof
banded with fishscale and plain tiles, cresting and large chimneys. 2 storeys.
3 windows, casements with lozenged glazing and dripstone moulds. Porch in angle
formed by advanced section. This building is said to have been formerly the school
for the Hook Estate.
Hook Cottage and Post Box Cottage form a group.
