C17. Altered. 2 storeys plus attic; 5 bays wide. Rendered front with brick
side walls with tile-hung gables; tiled roof. Ground floor with asymmetrical
late-C18 porch and 4 flush sash windows. Moulded stringcourse at 1st floor level.
1st floor with 5 flush sash windows. All windows complete with glazing bars.
Bracketted eaves cornice.

No 1 together with the Crown Hotel and Nos 4 to 10 (even) on the opposite side form
a group.
