Mid-C18 facade to earlier building. 2 storeys; 6 bays wide. Brick; tiled roof.
Ground floor with central recessed door approached up 4 stone steps with wrought-iron
rails and within a pedimented doorcase and flanked on either side by 2 flush windows.
All windows segment-headed and with rubbed brick heads and jambs. Moulded cornice.

The Crown Hotel and Nos 4 to 10 (even) together with No 1 on the opposite side
form a group.
