SU 7139 2/34
Erected by public subscription 1813, enlarged 1840 and subsequently. 2 storeys;
5 bays. Colour-washed brick; slate roof. Ground floor with, on the north, some
segment-headed blank arches and modern shop fronts. Band at 1st floor level.
1st floor with 5 recessed sash windows. On the south a doorcase with scrolly
brackets and irregular fenestration. VCH, Hants II, p 473.
