of Shrubbery House

Milestone. c1825. Stone pillar of square section, placed diagonally, the
upper part of the front being curved below a quadrant sloping (top) panel
and above a small triangular sloping panel. The top is inscribed with the
parish name (Froyle), the rounded front with LONDON, the triangular panel with
44 (the mileage from London). The lower faces are inscribed, on the east side
with Alton 3, and on the west with Farnham 6.
