SU 74 SE FROYLE UPPER FROYLE

5/58 Barn, 20 metres west of
Froyle Place

GV II

Classrooms, former barn. Late C18, early C19, with C20 restoration. Brick and
tile. Although much altered, the barnlike structure retains much of its walls
of red brickwork in Flemish bond, with some flat arches with keys. ½-hipped
roof. Inside, there remain some original tie beams, with straight struts. The
building has later structures attached at each end, but is included for group
value.
