5/61 Gothic Cottage


House. c1860. Chalkstone walls and steep roof of interlocking tiles. Of Tudor
style; near symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys, 2 windows, with unequal
gables above the windows. Stacks at each end with coupled diagonal flues,
above decorative bases. Ashlar walls, chamfered openings, plinth. Casements,
with diagonal leaded lights. Solid porch, with gable, chamfered opening, and
boarded door.
