5/65 West End Cottage

GV II

House. C17, with C20 restoration. Timber-framed structure, with a tiled roof.
2 storeys, irregular fenestration. Prominent roof, ½-hipped at the south, hipped
at the north end, where it is brought to a low eaves, catslide at rear, ½-hipped
above a 2-storeyed projection in the centre of the rear. The front (south-west)
has 4 above 3 windows, the upper wall being tile-hung and the lower of brickwork
in Flemish bond; the tile-hanging returns on the south gable; the rear and north
walls have exposed bricknogged framing. C20 casements. 2 small C20 porches.
