3/15 Fern Cottages, Nos. 1 and
2

GV II

Irregular pair of cottages. Early C19. Brick and tile. The front (north-east)
has 2 storeys, with a forward projecting wing at the west side, 3.1 above 2.2
windows. Flemish bond walls (some C20 stretcher bond) with cambered ground floor
openings. Cast-iron casements. No.2 has an open gabled porch on the east wall
of the wing, with decorative bargeboard and boarded door. The east elevation
(No.1) includes a lower south wing of 1 storey and attic, with Flemish bond walls,
1st floor band, cambered openings, cast-iron casements, and 2 plain doorways.
