3/6 Pond Cottage

Pair of estate cottages, now one. 1826. Brick walls of Flemish bond, with
cambered ground floor openings, and a tile roof of plain form. 2 storeys, the
south-east elevation having 3 above 4 openings; the present entrance elevation
(next to the roadway) has a continuous outshot with 3 windows and 2 arched
doorways. Casements, some cast-iron frames, a C20 French door. 2 plain
boarded doors. Stone oval plaque incised G.P.J. 1836 (Jervois).
