3/26 The Thatched Cottage

Cottage. Cl7, restored. Timber frame with a thatched roof. 1 storey and attic,
2 above 3 windows. Ripped roof, brought to a low eaves above outshots at each end,
with eaves raised above the C20 dormer windows; shafted central stack. The walls
have exposed framing at the rear and ends, with brick infill, but the front
(south-east) is of brickwork in English bond, with several later patches. C20
casements. Boarded door in a plain frame, and a French window at the east side.
