Once Glade Farmhouse, now 4 dwellings. C18, early and late C19. Brick walls
and tile roof. Front (east) of 2 storeys and attic, 3 dormers, 6 upper windows
(2 now filled), and 4 lower (1 filled) windows and a lower extension (early C19)
of 2 storeys 1 window set back at the north end. Roof ½-hipped at the south
end, brick dentil eaves, flat roofed dormers. The entrance, to the north of
centre, has above it an arched (now filled) opening with stone key and impost
block; to its north is a single wide window and to its south 4 upper windows
(1 filled). Walls of header bond, with rubbed flat and round arches, plinth.
Sashes in exposed frames, some casements. The old doorway is plain, enclosing
a fanlight and 6-panelled door; a later door immediately north is similar;
there is a French window to the south side, and a boarded door in the extension.
C19 rear part, forming a double pile.
