Cottage, formerly 2. C16, early C19. Brick and stone, with a tile roof.
Timber framed structure with south extension of the early C19; 1 storey and
attic, irregular fenestration. Roof ½hipped (steep at the north end), with
narrow span at the south side, one gabled dormer at front and rear. Brick-
nogged frame exposed at the rear and north end, and at the upper part of the
front (west), with brick infill (some herring-bone), the lower front wall and
south side walling being of coursed malmstone with brick dressings. Small
casements. Boarded door. Small C20 outshot at the rear south side, with
boarded walls.
