SU 74 SE BENTLEY A31 MAIN ROAD

House. Early C19, and mid C19. Painted brick and stucco, with a slate roof.
The front (west) is at right-angles to the roadway, symmetrical of 2 storeys,
3 windows, but with a north side addition (mid.C19) of 1 window. Low pitched
hipped roof, with plain wide eaves, merged with the slightly higher roof of the
extension. Painted brickwork in Flemish bond, plinth. Sashes in reveals.
Classical (Doric) porch with thin Greek nouldings, of 2 columns, and 2 pilasters,
entablature, panelled reveals, and ½-glazed door. The south elevation is
symmetrical, of 2 windows, with stucco walls (and plinth) and sashes in reveals.
