Description

SU 74 SE BINSTED MILL COURT

4/61 Garden wall east at
Mill Court

GV II

Wall on 3 sides of the garden area to the east of the house. Mainly early C19.
Brickwork, mainly of English bond. On the north side the wall extends eastwards
from the house, and rises to form the south wall of the service building (appear-
ing as 2 storeys with pilasters separating 4 bays). It returns on the east of the
garden area, as a support to the higher-level roadway frontage to the stable and
coachhouse, and on the south side (of less height) it is parallel to the barn.
Included for group value.
