7/8 Stable Block 25 metres
south-east of Stubbs
Stables, now a store. Early C18, and early C19. Brick and stone, with a hipped
tile roof. Rectangular 2-storeyed block, the west side having a timber frame with
malmstone infill (partly-boarded) above a brick base, the east side of brickwork
in Monk above English bond, with cambered openings. Casements. Boarded doors,
with a doorway on the east wall leading to the upper floor from a higher ground
level. Stone plaque in the east side incised TWP 1817.
