SU 74 SE BINSTED THE STREET

4/74 Nos. 2, and 3

Pair of cottages. C17, early C19, with C20 restoration and porches. Timber
frame with brick and plaster, and a tile roof. A timber framed building, with
outshot at each end, front (east) of 2 storeys, 3 windows. Roof ½-hipped; and
extended to a low eaves at each side, catslide at rear, a flat-roofed C20 dormer
at each end. Exposed frame, with painted brick and some plaster infill, above a
rubble stone plinth. Casements. 2 large gabled porches, with bricknogged timber
frames and ½-glazed doors.
