SU 83 NW HEADLEY CURTIS LANE

8/32 Curtis Farmhouse

GV II

House. Early C18, with C19 cross wing. Stone walls and tiled roof. The
symmetrical front (south west) of 2 storeys, 5 windows, has the south-east bay
masked by the projecting wing, of 1 window. Steep hipped roof, ½-hipped to the
wing; shafted stack. Coursed stone with brick dressings; quoins, moulded 1st
floor band, rubbed flat arches, moulded plinth; the wing has roughcast walls.
Casements. Porch with a hipped roof. There is a long single storeyed service
wing to the south east, with a tile roof and stone walls.
