GV II

House. C17, and mid C19. Rendered walls and tiled roof. The surviving part of
a larger timber-framed building, the older part of 2 storeys, the later of 1
and 2 storeys. ½-hipped steep roof, shafted stack. Walls roughcast above
smooth rendering, with a small section of stonework: the south gable (cutting
off a former bay) having tile-hanging above brickwork. Casements. Boarded
door in a plain frame. The east (C19) unit is wider, with a double-pile ½-
hipped roof: the west side is a low 2 storeys, the east has a shopfront and
entrance adjoining the roadway.
