SU 83 NW KINGSLEY FRITH END

8/3 Grooms Farmhouse

GV II

House. Late C18, and early C19. Roughcast walls, and tiled roof. Symmetrical
front (south-east) of 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows, with a single-storeyed
wing at the north-east side, of 1 window. Roof ½-hipped at the north end, brick
dentil eaves. Plain walls, with cambered ground-floor openings, plinth. Sashes,
of 3 lights to each side and in the wing. C20 glazed porch. The original unit
has had a 2 storeyed addition (early C19) to the rear, and the single-storeyed
wing has a coupled ½-hipped roof.
