Lodge. Early C19. Rendered walls, hipped slate roof, central brick ridge stack.
Projecting eaves over a simple cornice. Single storey. Rear extension of similar
materials under parallel roofs. Entrance front faces drive leading to Northbrook
House (q.v.) and Farm: six bays, each with a tall round arched recess. From the
left, recesses in bays one and three are blank, and in bays two, four and six contain
recessed arched sashes with glazing bars. In bay five an arched entrance doorway
under open porch with lean-to roof supported on bracketed posts with sides screened
by open panels with slender diagonal cross bracing. Vertical board door with cover
strips. Sashes with bars in end elevations.
