Cottage, extended. C16, early C17, and C20. Exposed frame with brick infill,
the west gable being tile-hung above a brick wall. Half-hipped thatched roof,
closely-fitted around the gabled dormers. A 2-bay timber framed late-medieval
hall, with large chimneys (one attached to the east and the other inserted
within the west end), upper floor, and westward extension of one (timber-framed)
bay of late C16 or early C17, and a larger eastward extension, in style, of the
C20. North front: 1 storey and attic, 3 above 5 windows. Casements.
Small porch, with the roof eaves lowered to cover it, and a plain door. The
phases of construction are visible within.
