House. C16, reclad in the early C19, with minor C20 changes. Brick walls of
Flemish and Flemish Garden Wall bond, with cambered and rubbed flat arches,
plinth. Half-hipped tiled roof with gables, catslide at rear, at the west
side extended to a lower eaves above an outshot; massive tapered stack at
the east end. South front: 2 storeys; 4 windows. Casements. Plain
doorway, surrounded by a porch of greenery on a wire frame. Interior: the
framework is exposed, and there is a series of mural paintings of Elizabethan
date.
