SU 63 SE FOUR MARKS HAWTHORN LANE

Cottage. C17, early C19, and C20. Exposed frames with brick infill: the north
side (C19) has brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond, the south (C20) in
stretcher bond. Thatch roof, with eaves raised above the dormer windows,
pantile covering to the C20 rear extension.
Lobby-entrance timber-framed structure, with extensions at each end of the C19,
C20. South front : 1 storey and attic; 3 windows. Casements. Boarded door
in a plain frame, within an open porch, with a thatched roof and rendered walls.
