5/12 Old Post Office Cottage, and


Pair of cottages. C17, mainly early C19 exterior. Walls of brickwork in English
and Flemish bonds, part being tile-hung, the east wall rendered: at the rear
some timber-frame is exposed. Tile roof, with hipped ends, brought to a low
eaves at the west end above a boarded outshot, large flat-roofed (C20) dormers
to Bookham, small ones to Old Post Office. Of diminutive scale and timber-
framed origin, L-shaped block with south elevation (Old Post Office) of 1 storey
and attic, 2 windows. Casements. Plain doorways.
