5/13 Carpenters Cottage

GV II

House. C17, early C19, C20. Walls of brickwork in Flemish bond with blue headers,
of 2 phases, the earlier with rubbed flat arches, the latter with cambered arches
to the ground-floor, plinth. Hipped thatch roof, brought forward to a lower
eaves above the porch. A lobby-entrance house of timber-framed origin, reclad
in the C18 and extended in the early C19. Casements (one filled window and a
filled doorway). C20 brick porch.
