SU 63 SW ROPLEY CHURCH STREET

GV II

House. C17, C18 and C20. Rendered wall, with a high plinth: the rear walling
is brickwork in the upper part, the lower being of flint with brick dressings,
other walls of brickwork in Flemish bond.½-hipped tile roof, gabled to rear
wing: shafted stack. Timber-framed lobby-entrance house, with extensions and
re-cladding of the C18, with restoration and rear extensions of the C19. C20
metal casements. Plain doorway, within an open porch, having a hipped tile roof
on posts. Interior: the exposed framing and massive chimney breast indicates
the earlier history of the building.
