The Brewham War Memorial is listed at Grade II for the following principal reasons: * Historic interest: as an eloquent witness to the tragic impacts of world events on this community, and the sacrifices it has made in the conflicts of the C20; * Architectural interest: a simple obelisk design, well-crafted in marble with an intricate carved relief; * Intactness: the structure is unaltered; * Group value: it groups well with the nearby listed buildings.
A war memorial erected after the First World War dedicated to the men of Brewham who lost their lives whilst serving their country, and subsequently to those who lost their lives in the Second World War. The monument is constructed in marble and consists of an obelisk set on a square plinth. To its front the top of the obelisk has, carved in relief, a wreath with below an unfurled flag.
