Barn. C18. North and end walls of malmstone ashlar, with brick dressings; plinth
(cemented.), quoins, cambered openings, dentil eaves, large oval arches to the
projecting wagon entrances, with gables above containing a circular panel (one
with a clock face); rear south wall boarded above a low wall. Tile roof. The
barn has ten bays with aisle at rear, with wider spacing at the entrances, at
the third and eighth bays; two-storeyed front, the window-like openings filled
at the ground-floor (but with ventilation slots). The interior shows a standard
timber frame, with splayed struts and curved braces along the south side, the
north end of each tie beam resting on the solid front walls. Lead fire-
insurance sign fixed above the clock.
