SU 61 NE CLANFIELD NORTH LANE, Clanfield

5/2 Manor Farmhouse

10.10.78 II

House. Late C17 timber frame with C18 changes, early C19 extension (new front)
and substantial C20 restoration. The old part has rendered walls, the later has
coursed flint with brick plinth, quoins, and rubbed flat arches. Tile roof to
the rear, slate of low pitch to the front. Symmetrical south-east front of two
storeys, three windows, with a north-east extension of one window. Sashes.
Gabled porch, with arched opening. The rear part is irregular, of one and a
half and also two storeys, with casements. Some timber framing within.
