6/9 Monument 40 metres north-
east of church


Vault tomb, to the Jervoise family. Mid C19. Flint walls with Bath stone dressings.
A Gothic structure of two bays to the long sides and one at each end, each com-
prising a steep gable, enclosing an arched hood-mould above coupled panels with
cusped heads, and a quatrefoil panel within the arch. The north gable has a tre-
foil above a doorway, with a shouldered head and boarded door. Panels contain
inscriptions, the earliest of 1852.
