the priory

Small stable block. C18. Rectangular building with brick walls and half-hipped tile
roof, simple openings. At its east end (abutting the churchyard wall) there is a
stairway beside the wall, leading to an open landing, beneath a canopy formed by the
roof, with a doorway. Wrought iron rail to the outside. The staircase gave direct
access from the former rectory through the door in the churchyard wall.
