Living accommodation, and store. c 1890, said to commemorate the Queen's
Jubilee (of 1887). Flint and stone. A structure built on higher ground to
the rear of the mansion, and designed to augment the castle-like appearance
of the house (and probably to complement the raised tower of the stable block).
Walls of coarse flintwork, with stone parapets of exaggerated crenellation and
macrolation, lst and 2nd floor stucco bands, windows of small proportion in
deep splayed stucco reveals. The living quarters comprise a tall circular
tower of 4 stages, with a higher circular stair turret on the east side: on
the west side there is a high arch linking with a slightly lower and narrower
square tower (game store) and below the arch a flat-roofed connection.
