6/15 Brockbridge Farmhouse


Farmhouse. C16, C18 and early C19. Exposed massive framing with ironstone
infill, with later framing to the south side with painted brick infill:
painted brickwork in Flemish bond to the wings. 2 hipped thatch roof with
eyebrow dormers, low pitched slate roof to the wing. A timber-framed house
with later extensions; front (north west) of 1 storey and attic, 2 above 3
windows, with north east wing of 1 Storey, 1 small window. Casements. Late
C19 ½ timbered porch with a gabled thatch roof. The rear elevation is similar,
the south gable being roughcast.
