SELBORNE
Stable and Oast 20 metres west of Wick Hill Farm House

GV
II

Stable, with attached oast. C17, C18. The frame is exposed along the north
elevation, with brick nogging, the eastern section being boarded: other
walling is boarded, with openings on the south elevation. 1/2 hipped roof,
oasts roofless. Long narrow timber-framed structure, connected to a pair of
oasts at the west (and north) side. The coupled circular oasts are linked to
each other, and to the stable by a short wall, the lower part of malmstone and
the upper of brickwork, topped by a dentilled eaves band. The stable seems to
have been the original farmhouse, hence included for group value.
