2/13 Oakhanger Farmhouse

GV II

House. 1811, and late C19. Walls of Flemish bond with blue headers, rubbed flat
arches, plinth; stone cills. Plain tiled roof, brick dentil eaves, hipped rear
extensions. Symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys, 3 windows. Sashes.
6-panelled door in a plain frame, within a shallow open porch of a primitive
Tuscan Order. There is a long single-storeyed rear extension of original date,
in Flemish Garden Wall bond, with cambered openings, casements, and a coupled
2-storeyed rear block of the late C19, of brickwork in English bond. A small
boundary wall contains a stone inscribed with the date 1811.
