GV II

Gatepiers and flanking walls. Mid C19. Stone. There are 2 gatepiers, from
which walls extend in a curve to stop at 2 outer piers. The walls are plain,
with a cap and chamfered plinth. Each pier has a plinth, chamfered band level
with the top of the wall, and upper moulding and tapered top, ending in a ball
finial. There is a pair of wrought iron gates, with ornamental features of C18
style. Included for group value.
