Barn. C18. 5-bay timber framed with aisles to the long sides, Queen post
truss. Half-hipped tile roof, hip above the central waggon entrance.
Boarded gables, but the lower and aisle walls are of malmstone with brick
dressings (and some later buttresses). On the north wall is a recess with
2 stone plaques, inscribed 'WH 1768' and 'rebuilt JH 1832' (the farm being
owned then by the Hammond family).
