House. C15, C16, early C19 and early C20. Walls of roughly-coursed sandstone with
galletting, brick quoins and cambered arches, some exposure of the old framework in
the upper rear wall, C20 wing has bricknogged frame to the 1st floor, above red
brick walls. Ripped. tile roof, one gablet, one gable to the wing. A medieval
timber-framed hall of 4 bays (2-storeyed end bays), with fireplace and inserted
floor (to the central hall) of C16, walls mainly reclad early c19, and with a C20
wing. 2 storeys, irregular fenestration. C20 oak casements with leaded lights,
and C20 traditional door.
