House. Late C17, with late C20 extension and alteration. Walls of ironstone with
brick quoins, 1st floor band, stepped plinth band. Tile roof, hipped at the north
end and linked to the lower C20 unit. South-east front of 2 storeys, 2 above
3 windows, with the single-storeyed north extension brought forward to the roadway.
Casements, 2 with widened openings. Four-panelled door. Stone plaque inscribed
1602, and lead Sun fire-insurance sign. The extension is of similar form and
materials.
