House. Mid C18, early and mid c19, and c.1900. Walls of ironstone with galletted
joints, brick quoins, cambered arches, 1st floor band, and stepped plinth: some
tile-hanging to the 1st floor at the end of the rear and north wings. Tile roof,
hipped to the main block, with extensions hipped and 1/2-hipped, and a part with a
catslide, 2 hipped dormers. North-west front of 2 storeys and attic. 4 windows.
casements, some in widened openings. Mid C19 Tudor porch, with gable, arched
doorway and 6-panelled (2 top glazed) door. The rear elevations are more complex,
with a staircase projection, and irregular wings to the south-east, of the last
period.
