5/15 Stable and house north-
west of Golds House
(formerly listed with
16.3.54 Golds House)
Stable block occupying the north side of the farmhouse forecourt, with house
attached to its rear - early C19 and c.1900. Ironstone walls with brick quoins,
cambered openings, brickwork above ironstone to the house. Hipped tile roof, brick
dentil eaves, ½-hipped slate roof to the house. The elevation has 3 parts, a
central 2-storeyed block forward of a 2-storeyed east wing and single-storeyed west
wing (ending in a roadside wall), the house is a plain 2-storeyed block behind the
central unit. Included for group value.
